This is a book cover for the Folio
Society's publication of the
Historia Naturalis by Pliny the Elder. The page is on genuine
parchment
and is illuminated in a 15th c. style using all rare and authentic
medieval pigments and gold. The paints were all hand tempered and
applied using the techniques seen in my Articles Page. Our fourth cover
is about a doctor and the drugs he uses. |
